CELEBRATING A DISTINGUISHED YOUTH LEADER, PARLIAMENTARIAN & TRUE FRIEND: HON. AKILAPA MOSEBOLATAN ISIAQ @ BIRTHDAY
Today, Hon. Comr. AREO Oluwatobi Akintunde (AFRIKA), Honourable Member Representing Ogbomoso North Constituency at Oyo State Youth Parliament, 3rd Assembly, celebrate a remarkable young leader, a distinguished colleague, a brother, and, most importantly, a genuine friend — Hon. Akilapa Mosebolatan Isiaq, the Honourable Member representing Oluyole Constituency in the 3rd Oyo State Youth Parliament.
Birthdays are more than celebrations of another year added to one's life. They are moments to reflect on the journey so far, appreciate the people who have made an impact, and look forward to the greater possibilities that lie ahead. Today, I am particularly grateful for the privilege of knowing and working alongside a man whose friendship and presence have made this parliamentary journey more meaningful.
A DISTINGUISHED COLLEAGUE
As members of the 3rd Oyo State Youth Parliament, we have been entrusted with a responsibility that goes beyond occupying seats in the chamber. We are expected to represent the aspirations of young people, contribute meaningfully to legislative deliberations, and provide purposeful leadership.
In this journey, Hon. Akilapa Mosebolatan Isiaq has distinguished himself as a colleague with great potential and a sincere commitment to the responsibilities before us.
His representation of Oluyole Constituency is not just a title; it is an opportunity to contribute to the development of young people and the wider society. I am confident that the experience, relationships, and lessons gathered through this Assembly will continue to shape him into an even greater leader.
MORE THAN A COLLEAGUE — A TRUE FRIEND
Beyond parliamentary engagements, however, lies something I value even more: friendship.
I am grateful that this Assembly has given me the opportunity to meet people who have become more than colleagues. Hon. Akilapa is one of those people.
Friendship in leadership is valuable because the journey is not always easy. There are moments of intense deliberations, disagreements, responsibilities, expectations, and challenges. Having genuine people around you makes the journey more worthwhile.
I appreciate you not only for being a Distinguished Honourable Member, but for being a good friend, dependable colleague, and brother.
