OYO STATE YOUTH PARLIAMENT SEEKS STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH PACESETTER TRANSPORT SERVICE
The 32 Honourable Members of the Oyo State Youth Parliament, under the leadership of the Rt. Hon. Oyekola Marvellous Oluwatobi, paid a courtesy on Thursday 6th August 2026 visit to the office of the Sole Administrator/Chairman of PaceSetter Transport Services (PTS) Hon.(Dr) Ibraheem Oladeji Salami popularly called (Dikko), as part of the Parliament’s commitment to building strategic partnerships that will advance youth development and strengthen institutional collaboration across Oyo State.
During the visit, the professional delegation formally solicited the support and partnership of PaceSetter Transport Services(PTS) towards the activities and developmental programmes of the Oyo State Youth Parliament. The discussions centered on fostering a mutually beneficial relationship that will create opportunities for employment, internship and mentorship for young people and further promote the vision of His Excellency, Engr. Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde, FNSE, DSC, GSSRS, for youth inclusion and sustainable development.
In his response, Hon. (Dr) Oladeji Dikko Salami alongside his management team warmly received the delegation and commended the Leadership of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development led by Indefatigable Hon. Prince Falana Adebowale Adebayo for using the best selection criteria to churn out Youths with ethics and professionalism as members of the Parliament for 3rd Assembly. In the same vein He appreciated the Parliamentarian for their resolve to be a Distinguished part of youthful population with integrity, sense of purpose, dedication and commitment to serving the youths of Oyo State. He pledged his unwavering support for the Oyo State Youth Parliament and assured members of his readiness to collaborate with the institution in achieving its set goals and objectives.
As a demonstration of his goodwill and commitment, Hon. (Dr) Dikko Salami made a cash donation to the Parliament and reaffirmed his resolve to provide the necessary encouragement and institutional support that will enable the 3rd Assembly of the Parliament to thrive in its legislative, leadership and youth advocacy responsibilities.
Speaking on behalf of the House, the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Oyekola Marvellous Oluwatobi who represents Oyo East/Oyo West Constituency in the house expressed profound appreciation to Hon. (Dr) Dikko Salami for his warm reception, generous cash donation and his pledge to partner with and support the Oyo State Youth Parliament in all ramifications within his administrative jurisdiction. The Speaker described the gesture as a strong vote of confidence in the Parliament and assured that the support would further inspire members to remain committed to quality representation, impactful legislation, versatile youth skill improvement and youth-focused initiatives.
The Oyo State Youth Parliament remains committed to fostering productive partnerships with government institutions, corporate organizations, and well-meaning individuals in pursuit of policies and programmes that will positively impact the lives of young people across Oyo State.
